Our official Lib Dem candidate, Andrew Thorpe, will be taking part in a hustings organised by Yaxham Parish Council on Tuesday 10th July at Yaxham Village Hall (The David Myhill Room) alongwith the other party candidates. the hustings will commence at 7.30pm with statements by each candidate and an opportunity for the public to ask questions. This is a great opportunity to hear more about the Liberal Democrat Manifesto for Norfolk County
A director of Jarrold & Sons and a Chartered Accountant. He has enjoyed a successful career in business and finance and knows how to get things done.
Has chaired the Staff Council representing over 400 Jarrold staff members and played an active part in fund raising for the Staff Charity Challenge and numerous individual charities that he supports personally.
Has lived in Yaxham for the past 5 years having moved to Norfolk from his native home in rural Derbyshire.
He strongly believes in fighting for issues that are important to local people but is well aware of the need for financial responsibility.
He is married to Caroline for 33 years and has a grown up son a daughter both living in London. He enjoys running, cycling and photography.
