Our campaign in So uth West Norfolk to unseat Liz Truss will be led by our candidate Josie Ratcliffe, a former lorry driver who won a stunning suprise election victory over the Conservatives earlier in 2019 to become the first Lib Dem councillor in West Norfolk district for some years. South West Norfolk, which includes the Breckland towns of Swaffham and Thetford as well as West Norfolk's Downham Market, has long been a Conservative held seat, but with deep unrest locally as farmers and small business owners turn against the government's catastrophic Brexit failures, and after the Lib Dems beat the Conservatives in the European elections earlier this year, that might be changing.
